My first time with this practice. Everton tested my eyes thoroughly with very up to date equipment. He was both knowledgeable and friendly. Mary Beth Schwanz discussed all of the results and took time to answer my questions. I feel that it was an excellent exam by people who are a credit to this business. I highly recommend this office!

I drove from New Hampshire to see Dr Spector I was his Client for about 30 years before I moved north. He knew just what to do with my eye problem. In addition I had my time wrong I thought my appointment was two and it was one so I very proudly said I know I’m early when I walked in at 1:30 and they never commented that I was late. Dr Spector is 100% the best cataract eye surgeon in Connecticut. Dr. Spector has always been a prolific cataract surgeon and has been on the front line in developing small incisions, laser-assisted, refractive cataract surgery for decades. The entire staff are fantastic! I knew my vision was poor but it wasn’t until after I had my first cataract surgery and a new lens in my eye that I realized how awful my eyesight had been. Suddenly everything went from being sepia toned to bright, clear and colorful! No more reading eyeglasses and holding my iPhone one inch from my face! No need for a flashlight to read a menu! White was now brilliant and clean. I could hardly wait to get my second eye done. No bandages just walk out of the office with new vision!! If you are thinking about it, invest in vision care at Spector Eye Care. For my follow-up I have seen Dr. Mary Beth Schanz and she is brilliant. Dr. Schanz will make sure your eyes are healthy and take time to answer your questions.
